A right hand by Dubois laid out Dinu for the count. Time was :31.

Unbeaten middleweight Nathan Heaney (12-0, 4 KOs) stopped Iliyan Markov (6-15-2, 3 KOs) with a body shot in round three. Time was 2:13.

Unbeaten light heavyweight Tommy Fury (6-0, 4 KOs) outpointed Jordan Grant (2-0, 0 KOs) over four 40-36. Tommy is the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Middleweight Caoimhin Agyarko (9-0, 6 KOs) was victorious when Ernesto Olvera (11-7-1, 3 KOs) was pulled out after three rounds.

Unbeaten English bantamweight champion Liam Davies (9-0, 4 KOs) smashed Stefan Slavchev (11-39-2, 4 KOs) in two rounds. Slavchev down multiple times.

Featherweight Adan Mohamed (2-0, 0 KOs) outpointed Luke Fash (2-60-2, 0 KOs) over four 40-36.

Heavyweight Carlouse Welch (18-2-1, 15 KOs) scored a second round KO over former middleweight contender and world title challenger Edison “Pantera” Miranda (36-11, 31 KOs) on Saturday in San Antonio de Palmito, Colombia. Miranda was dropped in the first round and put down for the full count in round two. Now competing in the heavyweight division, the 40-year-old Miranda scaled in at a career-high 248 pounds.

Alante Green was able to withstand a late charge by Stivens Bujaj in the main event Friday night at the Cherry Valley Lodge Event Center in the Columbus suburb of Newark, Ohio winning the eight round contest by unanimous decision on scores of 78-74 x 2 and 77-75. In a year of surprising boxing returns, nothing is more surprising than the return of retired heavyweight contender JD “The Natural” Chapman (29-0, 26 KOs).

Born John David Chapman in March of 1983, Chapman did not fight as an amateur. Instead, he started fighting in Toughman Contest competitions before he turned pro in 2002. He chose the name “The Natural” as Chapman hails from Arkansas, “The Natural State”.

Former middleweight title challenger Edison Miranda returns to action today in a ten-round bout in San Antonio de Palmito, Colombia. Now competing in the heavyweight division, Miranda (36-10, 31 KOs) scaled in at a career-high 248 pounds. His opponent Carlouse Welch (17-2-1, 14 KOs) weighed 221.

Mexican bantamweight, Salvador “Peloncito” Juarez (15-7-2,4 KOs) scored his third win in a row and his second one out of Mexico, by stopping Dominican Jonathan “El Agua” Arias (17-18,15 Kos) in round six of the co-main event of the Promociones Murillo card at Palacio Dorado in Panama City, Panama.

In the main bout of the evening, also starred by two foreigners, Venezuelan Liborio Solis (31-6-1, 14 Kos) escaped with a split decision on his favor (67-66, 67-66, 65-68) to claim the WBA Fedelatin bantamweight title from Cuban Leosdan Nuñez (11-2, 5 KOs).

At 38-years-old, Nonito Donaire became the oldest bantamweight champion in boxing history last Saturday night with a highlight reel fourth-round knockout of Nordine Oubaali to claim the WBC bantamweight world championship. This marks Donaire’s third reign as bantamweight champion of the world.

Former IBF middleweight champion and current WBC #2, WBO #3, WBA #4 super middleweight David Lemieux (43-4 36 KOs) crushed David Zagarra (34-5, 21 KOs) in two brutal rounds on Friday night at the Holiday Inn in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. Lemieux dropped Zagarra twice in round one, although the second was erroneously ruled a slip. Lemieux dropped Zagarra immediately in round two, then pounced and got a referee’s stoppage.

Heavyweight Simon Kean (20-1, 19 KOs) pounded on 292lb Donald Haynesworth (16-6-1, KOs) for four rounds. Haynesworth didn’t come out for round five.
