IBF #1 lightweight George “Ferocious” Kambosos (19-0, 10 KOs) will challenge IBF, WBA, WBO 135 pound champion Teofimo Lopez (16-0, 12 KOs) in Madison Square Garden, New York City on November 27 and is confident he will have his hand raised in victory.
“I’m living in his head rent-free and that’s why he’s doing so many stupid things,” Kambosos told the AAP on Friday. “He’s smoking, drinking, and eating rubbish. He’s going to all these events like he’s a groupie following his favorite band. That’s not the behavior of a champion. He says his body is a temple, but he’s a fraud and I’m ready to expose him.”

Canelo Álvarez (56-1-2, 38 KOs) is looking to make history in the 168 pound weight class by collecting all of belts and becoming the first Mexican undisputed champion.
“It has been a long road, 16 years as a professional fighter,” said Canelo to the media right after the final press conference. “It’s been a hard road, very tough, but we are in this spot because of discipline, hard work, determination. If it was easy, anybody would’ve done it. But we are here close to making history by collecting all the belts at 168 pounds.
“This fight is personal, even more than the second Golovkin fight, for everything that happened in the press conference in Los Angeles. Unified WBA/WBC/WBO super middleweight world champion Canelo Álvarez and undefeated IBF super middleweight champion Caleb “Sweethands” Plant made their grand arrivals in Las Vegas on Tuesday, before they meet in a Showtime PPV this Saturday from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
At Tuesday’s event at MGM Grand, each fighter declared their intention of making history and emerging victorious Saturday night.
Canelo Alvarez: “It means a lot to me to win this fight for my legacy. That’s why we are here. He’s a good fighter with a lot of skills, but that’s nothing new for me. Saturday night, I’m going to make history.”
