WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will defend his crown against Derek Chisora at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday December 3 on a night where WBA regular heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois will make the first defense of his belt against South African southpaw Kevin Lerena, exclusively on BT Sport Box Office (UK & RoI) and ESPN+ (U.S.).

Fury, who intends on fighting Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed championship in the first part of 2023, will once again perform on UK soil following his April knockout of mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte in front of 94,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.

WBO #1 super welterweight Tim Tszyu (21-0, 15 KOs) will challenge undisputed 154-pound champion Jermell Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs) on January 28 in Las Vegas for all the belts, and predicts a knockout win. After that, he plans to capture world titles in heavier divisions.

“There’s Golovkin in the weight division above, Canelo Alvarez in the weight division after that. We can then go up to heavyweight if we have to,” Tszyu told The Age and the Sydney Morning Herald. “It’s no joke. Roy Jones went from middleweight to heavyweight, super welterweight to heavyweight hasn’t been done. That’s my all-time goal. That’s 10 years in the making.

“My first goal is, of course, the undisputed, that’s all I’m looking for. But after that, my mind is going to take me elsewhere – even to the heavyweights. I’ll fight Anthony Joshua. Lightweight Emiliano “El General” Vargas (1-0, 1 KO), the youngest fighting son of former junior middleweight world champion “Ferocious” Fernando Vargas, has inked a multi-year promotional contract with Top Rank. Trained by his father, Vargas is a seven-time national amateur champion who turned 18 in April. Unbeaten longtime WBA female super featherweight champion Hyun Mi Choi (19-0-1, 5 KOs) made another successful defense against Canadian Vanessa Bradford (6-4-2, 0 KOs) on Wednesday night in Seoul, South Korea. After a little more than a year of inactivity, the champion found herself in the ring with some difficulties that she was able to solve to get another victory, but this time in a close way. Choi’s next fight is expected to be against the new unified champion Alycia Baumgardner, who has already called her out.

Undefeated ring legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UK-based YouTuber Deji Olantunji went face to face for the first time this past Thursday at a press conference in Las Vegas before they headline the latest installment of the Global Titans Fight Series on November 13 from the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai and live on a $34.95 pay-per-view.

Floyd Mayweather: “Deji has a huge following, I have a huge following and it’s all about excitement. We’re both going to bring it and I think it’s going to be really cool for the UAE…I like his confidence and I like that after his first fight, he didn’t give up. He kept working hard to get better and improve.”

Deji Olatunji: “We’ll see what happens in the ring on November 13…I want to show Floyd that I’m really bringing something to the table with this fight.”

It came as no surprise, but there were also many who did not expect the sensational swiftness of the fight between former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and Sweden’s Robert Helenius last Saturday night, as In the very first round it was dynamite ignite, which so characterizes the man from Alabama.

Wilder’s right hand makes him one of the most effective heavyweight knockout proponents of all time and any time.

He “Poleaxed” his rival, who had to receive rapid medical attention, as the referee immediately discarded the regulation count.

A press conference has been called for tomorrow in London to announce the next fight for WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Fury has confirmed that the fight will take place December 3. According to the Daily Mail, it will take place at the 62,850-seat Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. All indications are the bout will be a trilogy fight with WBC #14 rated Derek Chisora (33-12, 23 KOs), whom Fury has already defeated twice in 2011 and 2014.

Fury looked to be in good shape in an Instagram video where he showed off his abs. The champ promised to “end the year with a big bang” and indicated that he’s going off social media until the fight.

A PPV price of $29.99 is set for the December 10 boxing exhibition match between ring legend Manny Pacquiao and South Korean YouTuber DK Yoo at the Korea International Exhibition Center in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, South Korea.

The WBO interim super middleweight title will be on the line when Zach Parker (22-0, 16 KOs) takes on John “Gorilla” Ryder (31-5, 17 KOs) at The 02 Arena in London on November 26, live on BT Sport in the UK. Parker was originally ordered by the WBO to fight Demetrius “BooBoo” Andrade for the interim title before Andrade withdrew from the running and next in line was Ryder, who Parker has previously expressed a keen willingness to fight in what is a major all-British clash.

“We have got a cracking show lined up for The 02, headlined by what should be an absolute stormer between our man Zach Parker and the highly respected John Ryder for the WBO Interim world title at super middleweight,” said promoter Frank Warren.

“We were expecting Zach to come up against Demetrius Andrade, but with Andrade having pulled out for the second time, now it gives us a bigger domestic clash against the #2 contender, Ryder. Super bantamweight Elijah Pierce (15-2, 12 KOs) impressively stopped Daron Williams (9-2, 6 KOs) in round two to win the WBC USNBC title in front of a large crowd this past Saturday night at the Hall at Live! Casino Hotel in Hanover, Maryland. Jeter Promotions signee Pierce dropped Williams three times and dominated the fight.

“Jeter Promotions is excited for the future of Elijah,” said promoter Tony Jeter. “Based on his performance, we see a really bright future and he will be a force at 122 pounds. He has been fighting guys two divisions above his best and more natural weight. On October 20, it will be 43 years ago since Gerrie Coetzee from Boksburg, South Africa and John Tate of Knoxville, Tennessee met in a bout for the vacant World Boxing Association heavyweight title at the Loftus Rugby Ground in Pretoria, at the height of apartheid in South Africa, before a reported crowd of 81,000.

Amongst much controversy, Tate, 24, an African American would face a white South African in a racially divided country and it was the first time that black spectators were allowed into the Loftus Versfeld ground.

In Saturday night’s main event at the Caribe Royal Orlando, super lightweight prospect Kevin Hayler Brown (2-0, 2 KOs) became the WBA Fedecentro champion by finishing off Adriano Profirio Ramirez (12-5, 7 KOs) at 2:34 seconds of round six with an explosive KO finish.

In the co-main, super welterweight Derrick “Dessel” Jackson (10-0, 5 KOs) scored an eight round unanimous decision against Damian Ezequiel Bonelli (24-12, 20 KOs). All three judges had it 79-73.

Super middleweight puncher Jose Armando Resendiz (13-1, 9 KOs) from Nayarit, Mexico, kept the pressure on all night against Heber Rondon (20-2, 13 KOs) from Buenos Aries, Argentina. Former WBA bantamweight super champion Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno (42-6-1, 15 KOs) of Panama stopped Mexican Julio Cesar Cruz (12-6, 6 KOs) in round one in the main event of the KO to Cancer card, promoted by his wife Rouss Laguna de Moreno, Laguna Premium Boxing on Saturday night at the Vasco Nuñez de Balboa Convention Center in Panama City, Panama.

More changes for Showtime’s ShoBox telecast on Friday night from Bally’s Atlantic City Casino and Resort. The main event, already a replacement fight, remains intact with unbeaten super middleweight Isaiah Steen (16-0, 12 KOs) against Sena Agbeko (26-2, 21 KOs) in a ten rounder.

The co-feature is now super welterweight Marquis Taylor (12-1-2, 1 KO) against undefeated Marlon Harrington (8-0, 7 KOs) in an eight-rounder that was originally set to open up the telecast. The new opening bout will now see an eight-round clash between undefeated heavyweight prospects Elvis Garcia (12-0, 9 KOs) and Moses Johnson (8-0-1, 7 KOs).  The bout that dropped off the telecast was an eight-rounder between unbeaten super middleweights Sean Hemphill (14-0, 8 KOs) and David Stevens (11-0, 8 KOs). No reason given for the change.

Triller presents a “Sons of Legends” card headlined by unbeaten Kenzie Morrison (20-0-2, 18 KOs), son of former heavyweight champion Tommy “The Duke” Morrison, against Robert Simms (11-3-1, 3 KOs) from Memorial Hall in Kansas City. Morrison is coming off a KO win over Hasim Rahman Jr. Other sons scheduled include Jose Luis Castillo Jr., Roberto Duran Jr., and Steve Cunningham Jr.

DAZN brings WBA #12 featherweight Mauricio Lara (24-2-1, 17 KOs) against Jose Sanmartin (33-5-1, 21 KOs) from Mexico City. WBO #4 lightweight Angel Fierro (19-1-2, 15 KOs) faces Jeremy Cuevas (14-1, 10 KOs) in the co-feature.

But I feel that the right hand was what won me the fight tonight,” said undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney after defeating George Kambosos Jr. on Sunday in Melbourne, Australia.

“When he first came out, I didn’t expect him to be switching. But I caught on to his timing and his angles, and I started to pick my shots more. Against a southpaw, the right hand is always on the money. That’s what happened.”

Former heavyweight champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder explained his successful plan leading to his first round knockout of Robert Helenius. “I had to take my time,” said Wilder in the ring. “I had to circle around the ring. I had to be mobile, hostile, and agile tonight. I set him up, allowed him to reach, and then I attacked. So it was a great fight.

“Who’s next? …I’ve been hearing rumors about Usyk. I see he isn’t in the building, or is he? Most of the time when guys say they want me and they come to a show of mine, they see a devastating knockout, and then they turn the corner on me. I’ve had many. I’m down for Andy Ruiz, or Usyk, or whoever.

“Deontay Wilder is back…the excitement in the heavyweight division is back…there’s no heavyweight division without Deontay Wilder. That’s a fact!”

It only took one punch. Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) returned to the ring and annihilated Robert “The Nordic Nightmare” Helenium (30-4, 19 KOs) in the first round of a WBC heavyweight title eliminator in the main event at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

After sparse opening round action, Wilder suddenly and devastatingly ended things with his famous right hand. A short shot put Helenius flat on his back just as the round was about to conclude. Helenius was down for several minutes. One-hitter-quitter for the Bronze Bomber. Again. Time was 2:57.

Undisputed lightweight world champion Devin “The Dream” Haney (29-0, 15 KOs) took a one-sided twelve round unanimous decision over former champion “Ferocious” George Kambosos Jr. (20-2, 10 KOs) in a contractually required direct rematch on Saturday night (Sunday afternoon local time) at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia.

Haney was cautioned in round one by the referee for holding. The 23-year-old Haney kept Kambosos off balance, connecting with his educated left jab and power right hand. Kambosos hurt Haney in round eight with a right hand to the body. The American suffered a cut over the right eye and was hurt again in round nine by a right hand, but Haney responded with two power right hands. Kambosos face was a mask of blood in round ten as Haney connected with left hooks and right hands. The doctor inspected cuts on Kambosos and allowed bout to continue. Both champion and challenger swapped solid punches in rounds eleven and twelve, and at the conclusion scores were 119-109, 118-110, 118-110.
