  • He sounds just like his father and his mannerisms are just like his as well. I don’t think Jr will ever be champion but every time I hear him speak, I become more of a fan of his. He’s very humble and realistic with himself and his career. I don’t think he gets Lara – Garcia. Whoever wins that fight (ridiculously) has Michael Zerafa next, but before this fight I read an interview that said he was willing to fight Alimkhanuly. That might be possible to make. It probably doesn’t look good for Alim fighting another guy at that level, but from Mosley’s perspective, sure, why not take his shot.

  • Certainly doesn’t have the skill of his dad but always has a go, good to see he still has some wins in him

    • Agree….danzeedy69… Congrats Mosley Jr…Mosley should have stopped the guy earlier… hate to point this out…but Mosley punch technique is horrible …slaps…..horrible…watch the tape….hard to watch…knowing that his Father was quite the opposite….

      • Mosley Jr. has much to learn yet in the ring. Great guy, but not stellar in his technique as an all-time great.

  • I like Mosley, Jr. He’s articulate and doesn’t sound like a street thug, doesn’t talk like an ignorant guy beholden to the hip hop culture. He sounds dignified, intelligent, respectful, full of humility. I’m glad he won and wish him the best going forward as he continues to work hard. We need more fighters like him, and fewer fighters like loud mouth Lopez, Broner, the Charlos, Wilder, and Tyson Fury.

    • Is it always necessary to put down others to validate why you’re complimenting someone else? As for those who “talk like an ignorant guy beholden to the hip-hop culture.” Its too bad everyone doesn’t have it together such as yourself. Give folks grace and time to grow.

      • HawnJay…you are absolutely correct…didn’t want to address the things that you did…just wanted to keep it about this wonderful gladiator sport….well said about Grace and time to grow…we all need it at some point in our lives as well as extending the aforementioned to others….great..hall of fame take!!!!

  • Who better to have Shane Mosley’s cadence than his son? Congrats on the victory.
