Officials for Saturday’s WBA/IBF super lightweight title unification and WBSS final between Regis Prograis and Josh Taylor in London are as follows:

The referee will be Marcus McDonell (UK). Judges are Alfredo Polanco (Mexico), Deon Dwarte (South Africa), and Benoit Roussel (Canada).

WBA Supervisor is George Martinez.

  • I hope these judges and referee do the right thing for both fighters and boxing in general, GB is know for terrible decision favoring local fighters.

    • Uk has nowhere near the amount of high profile scoring robberies as the US. Practically every week there.

    • Not any more than in America though. I’ve never seen a world title fight end with one fighter deliberately hitting the other in the nuts and the referee waving it off as a knockout, until I saw it happen in a ring in the United States. I have also seen dozens of Eastern European and Russian fighters good job hard on the scorecards in America. The UK has fairer judging in my opinion but they are too quick to stop fights for my liking.
