The referee will be Marcus McDonell (UK). Judges are Alfredo Polanco (Mexico), Deon Dwarte (South Africa), and Benoit Roussel (Canada).
WBA Supervisor is George Martinez.
It’s Matteo Montella and not Deon Dwarte as the 2nd judges
I hope these judges and referee do the right thing for both fighters and boxing in general, GB is know for terrible decision favoring local fighters.
Uk has nowhere near the amount of high profile scoring robberies as the US. Practically every week there.
UK is the land of the quick referee’s stoppage favoring British fighters.
Not any more than in America though. I’ve never seen a world title fight end with one fighter deliberately hitting the other in the nuts and the referee waving it off as a knockout, until I saw it happen in a ring in the United States. I have also seen dozens of Eastern European and Russian fighters good job hard on the scorecards in America. The UK has fairer judging in my opinion but they are too quick to stop fights for my liking.
