The narrative is already starting, dumb ass bias fans “haters” is saying that Munguia stopped Ryder and Canelo didn’t so he can beat Canelo. It’s downright absurd. These dumb asses don’t remember that Canelo beat Ryder up way worst than Munguia did. Canelo didn’t get the KO, but he dropped Ryder twice, broke his nose and destroyed his face. He beat the holy hell out of that man convincingly. Ryder looked like he was in a car wreck all the while Canelo coming off of hand surgery at that. The truth is Munguia is a good fighter, but Canelo is a great fighter and will beat Munguia by UD or KO. He’s not good enough to beat a prime Canelo and if this fight happens in May it will be proven yet again that Canelo is still the man at 168. Just because Munguia got a KO doesn’t mean anything. No two fights are the same and those two were definitely far in between.
Some people just fail to understand in general. Those who disagree are bias casual fanboys who don’t know anything about boxing. They can’t stand to hear the truth. They create their own bias narrative. Canelo will continue to prove those skeptics dumb asses as he has always. No matter how some may shake it up wont change the truth. If Canelo goes on to fight and win against both Munguia and Benavidez to finish off his three fight deal a new narrative will arrive that Canelo is ducking someone else. The cycle of stupidity continues.
Casual fan has a right to an opinion also..this is a boxing forum ..no exclusions…. And everyone has to agree with you Shaggy or there is no credibility otherwise….
I think Munguia needs to fight Andrade or Plant before thinking of fighting Canelo. And Canelo should stop selecting the least path of resistance. Canelo should fight Morrell or Benavidez.

Canelo, love him or hate him he is one of the best. The guy has challenged just about every champion there is and has only lost twice in over 60 plus fights. What people dont realize is how good Canelos defence is. When was the last time you have seen him get hit flush?? Do you really think Munguia will be able to hit him flush??
