  • Before a Spence vs. Crawford fight, I would love to see how Crawford handles Porter because all the other champs fought Porter.

    • No offense, but I think Crawford would beat Porter in a simple chess match of boxing. Porter has to get close to hitting anybody and tends to smother his punches when closing the distance. Porter’s boxing habits are tailored made to set Crawford up for simply moving and catching him at angles making that scorecard rack points up. Crawford all the way on this one.

  • Crawford…you crying all the time cuz no one wants to fight you BUT when a young hungry Lion steps up n wants to fight, u say he aint ready?? Prove it and derail that train. Otherwise shut up and fight someone descent already.

    • He just destroyed Kell Brook in 4 rounds. He cleaned out the 140 pound division. Spence told him to get a belt at 147. He stops Jeff Horn and does that. Then Spence starts talking about 60/40 u
      70/30 80/20. Let Ortiz at least beat one legitimate welterweight first. Come on man

      • Yes Spence has 2 belts and Crawford has 1. Spence has fought all the top guys at welterweight Porter, Danny Garcia and Mikey Garcia. Crawford has fought no one at welterweight. So this should not be a 50/50 fight. Sorry guys. Meanwhile Crawford fights once a year. He doesn’t deserve shit!

      • he beat an unranked way past his prime already destroyed by Spence fighter in Brook big deal and Horn the guy that was “gifted” a win over Manny when Manny would not resign with uncle Bob? he cleaned out a division with no real talent at 140 i mean at 140 which fighter did he beat that was even top 5 ranked? ok so now according to the WBO current rankings here are Crawfishes choices

        #2 Vergil Ortiz
        #3 Mikey Garcia
        any one of those fighters will be the best fighter on Crawfishes resume yet i bet he ducks them and jumps to 154 and fights the weak 154 WBO in Castano bet on it

  • these fighters today, getting them to fight each other is like is like pulling teeth, there’s a few out canelo being one who would have fit in back in the 70’s and 80’s, but most of them fight like once a year against one of ibo iba wbc wba wbo contenders so their record stays intact

    • back in the 70s there was ONLY 2 organizations the WBA (the oldest) and the WBC (created in the 60s) the IBF was created in the early 80s and the WBO in the late 80s all the other organizations have been sprinkling in ever since plus pre2k you only had 1 champion per organization per weight division, now days you have 3 maybe 4 world champions in each of the 15-20 organizations you hear of today being a world champion has become almost a dime a dozen back pre2k a World Champion was truly that.

      • Was even better when there was one champion in each of the eight weight divisions. Championship fights were big events in those days.

  • Spence and Crawford make me sick. Hearns and Leonard signed a unification welterweight fight one year after Hearns won the WBA belt. Spence and Crawford three years of BS are trying to extract more money out of the working class boxing fight fan. Floyd Mayweather started this crap and now we are seeing the damage to the sport he did. Meanwhile UFC are killing us because fighters there cant duck. They both don’t deserve the payday. I feel sorry for young fight fans.
