    • While Munguia should comfortably beat Berlanga, I’m convinced it will not be via first-round KO. Jaime is not an explosive puncher and his last 1st round victory was 7 years ago.

  • Berlanga? You have a better chance of Fat Joe beating Munguia. All kidding aside, Berlanga has no chance, he has no discipline, he hasn’t wanted to step up competition in years—but he doesn’t mind all those parties. He reminds me of a Chavez Jr (except Jr had people around him pushing him to do right). By now, and with his record, Berlanga would’ve been known as a serious threat—he isn’t.

  • The right fight to do and set up isMunguia vs Berlanga, if Berlanga wins his upcoming fight, everything is perfectly aligned for that bout to happen
The event would be at a high momentum right now. Two young strong brawlers, undefeated, Mex vs PR, East Coast vs West Coast, both have large following both promotional companies are on DAZN, this bout could be done for July 4 (still don’t get it why this date is not used by promoters for big fights) it would be a neutral celebration date, I can even suggest the site either Chicago or Miami
Where the Heritage following and Boxing communities are big, just a thought
