Cmon Showtime this is a joke of a fight. Benavides has only fought guys who can’t punch their way out of a paper bag. Fighting another nobody

After Benavidez wins by TKO or KO, I have no problems watching Benavidez vs. Parker because Canelo may maintain an interest in fighting at 175 (I hope not).
However, if Benavidez defeats Parker (especially by KO or TKO), I believe the boxing world may force Canelo’s hands for a major Texas scrap against Benavidez (at 168).
Hopefully, Benavidez can make 168 during this possible journey.

WTF is Benavidez waiting for? Why don’t he fight a real fighter? David Lemiuex hasn’t beaten a notable name in his career. The day he fights a real challenge he’s going to loose. Fighting softies wont prepare him against someone capable of fighting back and making the fight interesting. I’m not watching this fight.

This is David’s last hoorah. If he looks like crap here, no more big fights. Or at least decent checks. I think he might come in with serious determination, making for an interesting fight.
At the end though, Benavides should have a tko victory around the 9th round(ref stoppage) from too many unanswered punches.

After watching several Benavidez fights, he isn’t really a one punch ko artist, rather a volume puncher with average pop that most of the time overwhelmed his opponents with numerous punches, like Leo Santa Cruz. Lemieux is a one punch ko artist, but his boxing level doesn’t go along with his power and he can’t go over the hump when his opponent is near the elite level, like Benavidez is, but this time he has chance, because his opponent love to trade and no run. Could be nice an upset this time

what a surprise. Benavidez weighs in light. may he will enter the ring under 190lbs

If benavidez is wise, he will box and move. If he trade with Lemieux, he can be surprised. Even Golovkin respected the power of Lemieux.

Benavides is going to KO Lemieux. Too much disparity in size.

Who cares!!!!!!! Lemiux is done, just fighting for another paycheck. He should just take a dive, collect his check and call it a day!
