During his TKO1 loss against Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela last Thursday, super lightweight Yves Ulysse Jr injured his left ankle. After his medical examination and X-ray, the diagnosis confirmed a major ankle fracture requiring Ulysse to undergo surgery. The operation, which will take place today, aims to stabilize Ulysses’ ankle by inserting metal plates and screws. After rehab, he should regain his full mobility and have a complete recovery.
