WBC #12 middleweight contender Hugo “The Boss” Centeno Jr. (27-3, 14 KOs) will battle Juan Macías Montiel (21-4-1, 21 KOs) in a ten-round clash that headlines an FS1 telecast December 21 from Toyota Arena in Ontario, California. Fighting out of his hometown of Oxnard, California, Centeno will look to bounce back after he lost a decision to Willie Monroe Jr. in June.

The show will also feature 2016 U.S. Olympian lightweight Karlos Balderas (9-0, 8 KOs) taking on René Téllez Giron (13-1, 7 KOs) in an eight-rounder and unbeaten prospect Raymond Guajardo (4-0, 3 KOs) battling Donnis Reed (3-4, 2 KOs) in a super welterweight bout.

The FS1 telecast precedes the FOX broadcast headlined by the rematch between WBC super welterweight champion Tony Harrison and former champion Jermell Charlo.
