At this moment I can’t predict (guess after all) who could win this fight. Its a great matchup where Joyce has more to lose due to his age. I believe Dubois has more speed, more athleticism while Joyce carries more serious power, being his defense is more porous. The winner of this fight should be a front runner to challenge for a real world title (I mean the ones from Joshua or Wilder). I hope it won’t falls through or gets tainted with failed tests
Joyce more power? Are you a crazy person? 🙂
Joyce does have more power. He is able to land heavier blows with very little effort. But Dubois has power too of course.
“Jayce has more power” … this is coming from the guy who said Loma is an ordinary boxer.
Stop posting when you’re drunk please, you can’t be that naive. It’s not even funny, it’s stupid.
Nice. Good matchup
I agree ☝️
Looking forward to this scrap

I am not sure if Joyce will take this one, great matchup for sure
Very VERY easy victory for Dubois. Joyce might be the slowest fighter I’ve ever seen in over twenty years of watching boxing. John Ruiz is a close second. Dubois is going to win by KO within 7 rounds.
Joyce has always been slow, but he used to have good timing, but that has also faded, so he does not have much left.
Dubois wins. TKO in 9.
The bad thing is whoever loses will likely lose by taking a beating. Both are heavy handed.
Most likely the beating could be on Joyce, because his defense, slow, granite chin and age. Just we shouldn’t forget that if he puts Dubois down, it will be for good.
Joyce is so open, unfortunately he will be taking too many hard punches probably. But yes, if Joyce lands and he is in that destructive pummeling mode it could be end with Dubois being stopped.
Two up and comers actually fighting each other….WHAT A CRAZY CONCEPT!!!! Joyce has every reason to try this, but Dubois could easily fight stiffs for a couple more years if he wanted. Thank God for British Boxing, because if these two were American I doubt we’d get to see this fight. (Note: I’m a US Citizen, but have to give credit where it’s due).
I think Dubois is the most interesting young prospect out there right now. He had it all: size, speed, power and a willingness to test himself. Joyce IS a test, but I think the difference in speed will be prominent. The chin of Joyce will be checked and short of a Ray Mercer level jaw, I think he’ll go down in 5 or 6 rounds.
The most anazing I see in this match up is that both are under same promotern. Being the HW titles mostly between two main guy (Wilder and Joshua) they could have gone in separated directions.
100% so true re the UK boxing and boxers. Without this aspect heavyweight boxing would be useless.
Yes this is an all or nothing for Joyce if he wins he should be in line for a shot if he loses it will be difficult for him at his age to position himself for a shot. Dubois loses he is still young enough to come back. I like Dubois in this one by 10 or 11 round TKO.
Now this is a fight worth watching… Im really glad they made this one happen!
DD is very impressive indeed but other then Gorman he did not yet fight anybody who could possibly hurt him. It is much easier to hit hard when the opponent is not a real threat. The more tested Joyce is heavier, slower and has been easier to hit so it is a great test for DD and a great fight if it happens.
Good fight somebody’s o has got to go I give the Dubois the edge based on talent mid round knockout
