In a clash between unbeaten middleweights, Felix Cash (14-0, 10 KOs) scored a third round TKO over Denzel Bentley (14-1-1, 12 KOs) on Saturday night at York Hall in London. Cash defended his British title and added the Bentley’s Commonwealth belt.
In the co-feature, former world title challenger Callum Johnson (19-1, 14 KOs) returned after a two-year layoff to stop Emil Markic (32-3, 24 KOs) in two rounds for the vacant WBO Global light heavyweight title.
Heavyweight banger David Adeleye (6-0, 5 KOs) went the distance for the first time and got a hometown decision over journeyman Kamil Sokolowski (10-22-2, 4 KOs) over six rounds. Referee Marcus McDonnell scored it 58-57 for Adeleye in a verdict that was roundly condemned on social media.
