  • I’m sitting here listening to him and I’m thinking how unfortunate it is that he will likely NEVER get over the situation around the Rios fight. It will bother him for the rest of his days. I hope he can find some peace with that. He does have a name and a gaudy record, if he strings together a few halfway decent wins, maybe Peterson can get a shot before the end of the year. I don’t think there’s a chance at all that he wins it, but maybe he can still get a shot.

    • Spot on! His pain and emotions are visceral! We as boxing fans cannot even begin to imagine the heartbreak and physical pain these athletes go through. IDK why I started to think about poor Meldrick Taylor and what Richard Steel did to him ala Don King

  • He’s throwing accusations of cheating out there against the Rios/Garcia camp without proof and making a ton of excuses. It’s his fault for choosing to deal drugs. He needs to stop making excuses. And this whole thing “I’m not a fighter, I’m a performer.” Give me a break.

  • Phenomenal…my kid won a decision over Anthony in a VERY GOOD FIGHT to win the 1998 National PAL title at just 85 POUNDS…24 years ago and Anthony is still here.
