Amir Khan robbed at gunpoint

Former world champion Amir Khan announced on Twitter that he and his wife are unharmed after being robbed in London. The thieves reportedly made off with a $94,000 Franck Muller Vanguard Chronograph watch.

Amir Khan: Just had my watch taken off me at gunpoint in East London, Leyton. I crossed the road with Faryal, luckily she was few steps behind me. 2 men ran to me, he asked for my watch whist having a gun pointed in my face. The main thing is we’re both safe.

    • …….further solidifying that London is turning into another third world S hole thanks to, we’ll you know!

      • Probably a poor Somalian “refugee” that the media will somehow make into the victim. The UK and Europe is almost completely ruined. Flooded with “migrants” who don’t belong. You can thank the long nose tribe and the cancer known as liberalism.

        • Sorry your life sucks, but don’t blame “others”. Get off your ass and make your life better.

          • The life’s of millions are made miserable on the count of the actions of “others” who made their lives “better” by fleeing their homeland for less corrupt/violent, paler and greener welfare pastures.

  • Keep flashing expensive jewelry in ghetto neighborhoods. You ask for it.

    • Ghetto thugs don’t steal in ghetto neighborhoods, they go to the “rich” part of town to do their thuggery.

  • Dumb people buy worthless, expensive trinkets to wear so even dumber people can rob them for it.

    • So now we can’t buy what we like or want out of fear some dumb criminal will take it from us?

Terrible way to live your life.

    • A $30 Times watch is enough to get you mugged or robbed in 85% of today’s societies. In some societies, people will simply kill you for the pleasure.

Try wearing that in a slum in Rio or Haiti or Nigeria.

      • – “Timex” not “Times”
        – Been to the Island of Hispaniola w/no issues.

        • That’s great, now tell the millions of Dominicans and Haitians who’ve fled Hispaniola for the United States that everything is just wonderful in their homelands.

          • @Juan Valdez.
            – I don’t have to tell them anything that they already know.

  • Why pay 100,000 for a watch? Next time wear a Casio, see what happens, glad you are both safe.

    • So now people aren’t allowed to buy or wear what they want?

Thank you BLM and democrats for making g this country a worse place for the law abiding.

  • $94,000? And I thought I was doing something with my $800 Movado, I bought 10 years ago that I still wear. Glad no one got hurt.

    • An €800 watch isn’t expensive lol.. maybe for the low to middle class it is. It makes you who you are. I recently bought €4000 speakers. And that’s not a lot of money in hifi world. €800 for a watch that makes you is fair game. But not perse expensive. 100k on the other hand is ridiculous. You can buy a small house with that money.

  • A natural thing to do when someone ask for the time, *Pull out your cellphone*.

  • I hope the next will be Floyd Mayweather who is boasting all the time about his watches, cars and more expensive and stupid possessions. Donate a part of your millions to ONG or fair causses, asshole. Do something good for once in your life… Hate this fellow

  • sorry to hear that thats good they just stole his watch not his car

  • Boxers, please put your expensive jewelry in a safe deposit box, have an inexpensive replica made and make sure everyone knows that you wear replicas. How can anyone be comfortable wearing something so expensive? Don’t you guys have advisors? managers? Glad you were not hurt.

  • glad no one got hurt keep the expensive watches jewelry at home or better is put it in a safe deposit box do not wear in public

  • Ahhhhh kind of stupid wearing a 94,000 watch. Your just asking for trouble. Especially in today’s Wild West lack of law and order. They’ll make the thief out to be Robin Hood.
