One of the great things about a big fight in Las Vegas is all the interesting boxing people you can run into. Here are interviews with Hall of Fame boxing analyst Al Bernstein, cut man extraordinaire Stitch Duran, top trainer Jeff Mayweather, unbeaten featherweight Bruce “ShuShu” Carrington, and WBA #2 rated super lightweight Kenneth “Bossman” Simms Jr.

Good interviews, Jeff! Glad you’re meeting up with some good boxing people out here.
The only interesting person I’ve met in Vegas this week, was some nasty ass hooker attempting to offer her services to me at a popular casino on the Strip. I told her she should be the one paying me, because I’d be the one doing all the work!
It was a nice change and brief episode of honesty for Al Bernstein to admit that Canyellow has gotten favorable decisions in the past.
I had a suspicion that Showtime was considering to drop boxing from their broadcasts. I suspect, also, that espn, under pressure from the Disney Corporation, will drop boxing, too. If these broadcasters follow through with this, the effect on boxing in the US will be devastating.
Nothing has bee more devastating to boxing than corrupt promoters and dubious decisions.
