Can’t hardly wait!
It’s gona be a very bored fight don’t dream too much
So you not gonna watch live?
Spence will win the early rounds (2 or three), but once Crawford figures him, it will be all action packed fight where both men will have their moments, more Spence, but after the 8 round it will be Crawford in charge to win by decision or late rounds stoppage
Not sure about the action packed part but i hope that’s the case
I believe they will trade hard once Crawford has an idea how to deal with Spence, it will be all action, very intense fight from the 3rd or 4rd round on, but from the 8th on it could be all Crawford. Its just my point of view, but who knows, very likely would be different.
Spence has a few defensive flaws (e.g. front foot heavy & wide elbows, at times) that may allow an offensively versatile Crawford to create many hard counterpunching opportunities.
To maximize his counterpunching opportunities, should Crawford fight as a southpaw or as an orthodox?. I am thinking southpaw to crank out Crawford’s right hooks to counter Spence’s straight left hands, and his straight lefts to quickly inside counter Spence’s right hooks – especially when Spence tries to apply inside pressure. Crawford’s defense looks better as a southpaw, too.
However, in the second half of fights, Spence will bring plenty of body punching heat and pressure that tends to snatch an opponent’s spirit and will. Spence will need a sturdy chin and a great jab. I am also wondering if Spence will have a substantial weight advantage on fight night?
So far, I pick Crawford’s counterpunching skills. Glad I have more time to think on it.
This is gonna be a great fight. Like Leonard vs Hearns. Both fighters are equally matched. This is a 50-50 fight. Whichever fighter you choose could win. That’s why it’s such a great fight. I’m leaning towards Spence but I would be just as comfortable picking Crawford. I like them both. This is the 1st fight in over 30 years that I will pay to see. The last two great fights I bet money on, I won both bets (Leonard vs Hearns and Mayweather vs Pacquiao). I bet $100 on Spence. I hope the fight lives up to the hype. May the best fighter win.
I beg both fighters to give the public what they’ve been missing for so long – action from post to post.
