Schwarz swats Fernandez, Deines snags silver

WBO #4, IBF #12 heavyweight Tom Schwarz (22-0, 14 KOs made quick work of previously unbeaten but little known Julian Fernandez (11-1, 8 KOs) on Saturday night at the Stadthalle in Magdeburg, Germany. Schwarz walked through Fernandez from the get-go, finally battering him to the canvas in round two.

Unbeaten light heavyweight Adam Deines (16-0-1, 7 KOs) outworked Mustafa Chadlioui (12-4-2, 8 KOs) over twelve rounds to claim the WBC international silver title. Scores were 117-113, 118-110, 117-112.

In a junior middleweight bout, highly touted Olympic bronze medalist Mohammed Rabii moved to 6-0, 4 KOs, after an eight round unanimous decision over 39-year-old veteran Anderson Clayton (41-13-2, 35 KOs). Scores were 80-72, 80-72, 79-73.
