Vi-Tran and Kenny Moore put on another good show in their Best of Tomorrow series. The shows have become destinations for top management and promotional companies to showcase or test their talent. Saturday night at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, MI the main event featured top prospect, welterweight Janelson Bocachica (15-0, 10 KOs) facing off against Luis Florez (24-15, 20 KOs). Bocachica was never really threatened by Florez. Bocachica was able to work over Florez for 8 rounds. Florez, who adhered to the “too tough for his own good” mentality, took a beating without really showing the judges anything. All three judges scored the bout (80-72, 80-72, 80-72) in favor of Bocachica by UD.

The co-main event, which was easily the best fight of the night, featured DiBella Entertainment’s Eric Walker (20-2, 9 KOs) vs fellow middleweight Damian Bonelli (23-8, 20 KOs). Walker started off the fight with amazing body work to Bonelli. His best punch was a straight jab to the body. Walker was able to work the body throughout the fight. In the 4th, durable Bonelli had his best round landing on Walker. The fight showed two guys slugging away at each other for 8 rounds. Walker was able to drop Bonelli in the 7th, which is not an easy task, as he won by UD (80-71, 80-71, 79-72).

Super Featherweight Basil Nasser (4-0) showed good speed, great combinations, and multiple spurts of punch flurries to win a 6-Round (60-54, 60-54, 69-54) UD vs Charles Clark (2-6-1, 1 KO).

Super Middleweight Marlon Harrington (1-0, 1 KO) had a successful pro debut vs Salome Torres (0-1). Harrington got the TKO at the 1:07 mark of the 1st Round.

Welterweight Kevin White (3-0, 1 KO) easily defeated Joel Berman (0-4) by KO at the 1:47 mark of the 1st Round.

Heavyweight Tommy Washington Jr (7-12-1, 2 KOs) defeated Antonio Robertson (4-7-1, 2 KOs) to start the night of fights by UD (40-36, 39-37, 39-37).
