Olascuaga on WBA KO to Drugs card

Rising prospect Anthony “Princesa” Olascuaga of Los Angeles, California is set to make his return to the ring this Saturday, March 12 in Panama City, Panama. Olascuaga faces former WBC world title challenger Gilberto “Cacique” Pedroza (19-8-2) of La Palma, Panama in a bout scheduled for 8 rounds with the vacant WBA Fedelatin flyweight title at stake.

The show is an initiative of the World Boxing Association (WBA) labeled “KO of Drugs” which throughout the years has given prospects a platform to showcase their skills. The card is set to take place from Arena Roberto Duran in Panama City and will be headlined by former WBA world champion Anslemo “Chemito” Moreno who squares off against Cesar “Perico” Ramirez.

Anthony Olascuaga(2-0 1 KO) 23, is fresh off his dominating performance over the savvy veteran Saul “Baby” Juarez this past August from Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, FL. Olascuaga trains under the guidance of Rudy Hernandez who believes his fighter is ready for the big challenges, as he attempts to capture his first regional belt in just his 3rd pro fight.

The bout is bought to you by Teiken Promotions in association with All Star Boxing, Inc and Laguna Premium Boxing.
