Hard not to like Loma. Even in his loss where many thought he won and he gave away weight he was classy afterwards.
Although I’ll root for Campbell it’s great that him and his stablemate are happy to travel over to our shores.
I could see loma getting screwed on the scorecards with hometown decision especially if Campbell uses his length well even without scoring much himself.
Heck yeah! Great presser! No immature BS or nonsense. Everyone conducted themselves great. Would love to see more of these co-promotions come together and fans get the fights that matter. I’m 1/2 Ukrainian by descent so I’ll back my blood here. Wouldn’t be at all upset if a great fighter like Luke Rose to the occasion and scored the upset though. Good luck to both of these two great scrappers!
I like that press conference – everyone was to the point, brief and respectful.
Its an unfortunate fact that networks, promoters and judges have killed a very high percentage of good fights and also heavily manipulated entire boxing careers. Its good to see Arum and Hearn setting a commendable example.
