  • Dang, kind of feels like justice after watching about a hundred punches land more than 6” below the belt. That was borderline insane. Every replay showed several punches landing deep into the Southern Hemisphere.

  • Good ! Tired of these over protected fighters just carried to championship fights . Mungia and promoters were just “working their way “to another scripted rematch .

  • I like this kind of results because somebody here said the French guy did not hit hard and he was set up to lose against Munguía ….so ….this is the way you learn about boxing

I already went through this years ago

  • Probably a bigger upset than Douglas over Tyson. I’m glad they showed the replay 20 times, it took me 19 to grasp that is was real. BOXING! THE GREATEST SPORT INVENTED BY MANKIND!

  • This is why Mungia , handlers , and promoters avoided so many top level fighters . They all knew . I am sure they will come up with some excuse – illness , weight drained , hand injury , unfocused fighting at home , etc , etc . He wasn’t going to fight any top level fighters until he got a “ rematch” . I am just glad it wasn’t Berlanga “another fraud” that beat mungia .

  • Great for the Frenchman! Hopefully a big money rematch in Paris! Yeah, we got an Eyeful tonight didn’t oui? I’ve been so burned out listening to that Mexican warrior bullshit! We are not Supermen dammit! Ah Ha!
