The Jamaican Boxing Board (JBB) is paying tribute to its former President Keith Brown who passed away on Monday at the age of 83. Brown had many roles as a journalist and boxing broadcaster, and his contribution to Jamaican boxing was paramount. Keith was the main figure behind the television series Thursday Night at the Fights and also staging the Wray and Nephew Contender series from 2011 to 2018.
My word. I’m so sorry to hear about this. When I was a kid in Jamaica I used to watch the Thursday Night Fights with Keith Brown. RIP. You will be missed. My condolences to the family.
Rest In Peace Warrior, God Bless…
