Unbeaten welterweight contender Michael “The Problem” McKinson (22-0, 2 KOs) of Portsmouth, England, won a unanimous decision over Alex Martin (17-5, 6 KOs) from Chicago in the co-main event Saturday night in Los Angeles. McKinson was slated to take on Vergil Ortiz in the main event, but Ortiz withdrew from the fight due to rhabdomyolysis. Here is what McKinson had to say…

If he had fought Ortiz there is a good chancing McKinson would not be speaking today. He got lucky.
