Boxing fan favorite “King” Gabriel Rosado (26-14-1, 15 KOs) will face-off against Shane Mosley Jr. (17-4, 10 KOs) in a 10-round fight for the WBA Continental Americas super middleweight title on the undercard for Ryan Garcia vs. Emmanuel Tagoe in April 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, live, worldwide on DAZN.
“I’m excited to get back and start the new year with a bang,” said Rosado, who is coming off a loss to Jaime Munguia in November. “I’m back at 168, where I feel more comfortable. I won’t take Shane Mosley Jr. lightly, this is a big step-up fight for him, and I expect him to be at his best. I’m looking forward to making a run at the super middleweight division, and Shane Jr. is in my way. I respect his father, who is one of the best to do it. Also part of the DAZN live stream will be Marlen Esparza (11-1, 1 KOs) against Naoko Fujioka (19-2-1, 17 KOs) in a 10-round fight for the WBC and WBA female flyweight world championships.

Berlanga is a very easy fight for Gabe. Berlanga might be the most one dimensional fighter in boxing right now. If Gabe can stay away from the right hand he will box circles around Berlanga.

I actually like Shane Mosley Jr., but he won’t win this fight. Esparza – Fujioka is interesting. Fujioka is 46 years old and should lose, but I think she at least gives Esparza a good fight and could spring the upset imo.

I like the match…not sure how it will play out but I like it. Man….April 9th is going to be a busy day. I am out at a baseball game with my wife April 8th and will then be hauling my butt out of bed the next morning for GGG. I like Mikaela Mayer but I cannot see where I will be fitting her in that day!!!
