Benevides does not have a title and does not deserve a shot against Canelo. He would only be getting a shot because of his Mexican nationality. Besides, you casual fans have had fight after fight from Canelo cherry-picking so now it’s time us hardcore fans get a fight out of the supposed number one pound per pound. I want Dimitry Bivol to be afforded the same training camp and promotion that light-hitting Caleb plant received. The Russian is a full light heavyweight champion and undefeated. There’s nobody else for Canelo to fight but this guy, and if he doesn’t then he officially goes down as the biggest fraud in the history of boxing. He will be the only fighter in the history of boxing who continuously had catchweight fights, rehydration clauses and giving undefeated world champions three weeks notice for a fight, just because he had the leverage of money to dangle in front of these fighters faces. If he does defeat Bivol legitimately, then I will retract everything that I said and give him the legitimate pound-for-pound status. Until then, he’s a casual fans fighter and a fraud.
