WBA Convention headed to Medellin, Colombia

The beautiful city of Medellin, Colombia, will host the 96th WBA Convention from October 30 to November 2, bringing together the most important figures in the world of pugilism. This convention will be totally different from the previous formats. The WBA is establishing a new model which can provide real contributions to the city that hosts the event. Therefore the venue chosen was Medellín, a city recognized worldwide for its advancement in education and social inclusion processes of change for a better life.

WBA President Gilberto Jesús Mendoza is sure the 96th WBA Convention will be a success and said to expect some surprises to be unveiled in the coming weeks. This will be the second time that Medellin has hosted a WBA Convention, the first time was in 2009.
