Yera beats Baules in Panama

After local flyweight Jose Luis Calvo pulled out of his scheduled fight against Dominican Jonathan Arias hours before the show because of payment issues, the other six rounder became the main event of the card promoted by Cornejo Producciones at Los Libertadores in Bethania, Panama.

Super bantam Norlan Yera (6-0, 2 KOs) a Cuban based in Panama, remains undefeated by beating local Gilmer Baules (7-9. 2 KOs) by TKO after two rounds.

All of the other 7 fights were 4 rounders.

Fernando De La Rosa (3-1-1, 2 KOs) won a lopsided decision over Manuel Ramirez (1-1, 1 KO).

Angel Mojica (5-0, 4 KOs) won by TKO 3 over Alexander Armuelles (1-10, 0 KO)

Charlie Wilson (2-0, 2 KOs) overcame two knockdowns in round 1 to stop Jacob Smith (0-3, 0 KO) at 2:53 of the second.

Unbeaten featherweight Jose Nuñez (7-0, 3 KOs) stopped Colombian Alvaro Marimon (11-12-1, 9 KOs) by KO at 2:54 of the very first round.

Orlando Peñalba (3-0, 1 KO) got his third victory as a pro with no defeats. This time he won by TKO over Harold Mendoza (2-4-1, 1 KO) in round 2.

Roger Saldaña successfully debuted with a TKO win over Bolivar Osorio (0-8-1) at 2:25 of round 2.

After visiting the canvas in round 1, Hugo Vasquez recovered and also started his pro career with a victory by TKO over Kenny Espinoza (0-2) at 2:34 of the third.
