The WBC has announced that its 58th annual convention will not be canceled, so three options are contemplated:
1. Carry it out as planned, at the end of August in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
2. Carry out at some other venue on a date to be defined
3. Hold a virtual convention
This depends entirely on the sanitary conditions that occur in the coming weeks. More details will be released soon.
Please discuss enforcing the no holding rule. Makes for a bad fight. Unless we are transitioning to MMA. 1 or 10 seconds of holding still a foul and breaks the rhythm of the fight.
That sounds more like the referee convention. Kenny Bayless could surely use this reminder.
