Unbeaten junior welterweight and 2016 Olympian Lindolfo Delgado (18-0, 13 KOs) outpointed Jair Valtierra (16-3, 8 KOs) in a tactical ten-rounder that drew boos from the crowd in the Navarrete-Valdez co-feature on Saturday night at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. Scores were 98-92, 99-91, 99-91.
Unbeaten 2020 Olympic super heavyweight silver medalist Richard Torrez Jr. (6-0, 6 KOs) crushed Willie Jake Jr. (11-4-2, 3 KOs) in the first round. Torrez dropped Jake face first, then finished him with a barrage of punches. Time was 1:22.

Other Results:
Sergio Rodriguez TKO2 Eduardo Ayala (middleweight)
Ricardo Ruvalcaba TKO2 Adrian Orban (junior welterweight)
Vargas looked pretty solid. Unfazed by the pretty sound attack in rd 1. Impressive..Daddy is proud but concerned enough to not celebrate too much…smart smart
Wow. He beats a guy with 6 losses and the commentators are drooling over him
Emiliano Vargas keeps improving and winning.
Here we go again. Exciting times for boxing. May the best man wins.
What is 391lb Dajuan Calloway doing in a boxing ring?I’m all in favour of fitness but he seems to be heavier with each fight.
Richard looks like the second coming of Peter McNeeley.
Agree! Not hating, I respect any man making a living inside the squared circle, but he has zero chance against one of those huge heavyweights around today. He’s too small. Yes, guys like Mike Tyson or David Tua were small/short as well. But they had amazing power to compensate for it. Torrez doesn’t have that. He should move down to cruiserweight. But even there I wouldn’t give him much chance.
Mireles is tough big heart great trainer in Garcia …once he learns how to use his reach and work in a southpaw stance, he will make some noise.
We think that Emiliano has a bright future, but it’s time. You can’t continue to fight 3-6-1-2 fighters and act like you just won a world title, steps, take the next one!
Richard Torrez Jr. (6-0 not that good at all, lot’s of hype and he’s fighting dead people and senior citizens as soon as he steps up he get’s the same taste!
Richard Torrez Jr needs a rematch with Jalolov – that could be a $20 PPV match… I think he is being fed tomato cans because his team knows he can not dominate the bigger stronger fighters.
Torrez is (dare I say it?), a bridgerweight.
