WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury spoke about Saturday’s scheduled ten-rounder with MMA star Francis Ngannou in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

“I can stand and trade with anybody. I stood and traded with Wilder. I traded with Wladimir {Klitschko}, and I’ll stand and trade with this little bitch.”

“I might give him a slick, master boxing performance, not let the ugly man touch me once. That would be unbelievable, wouldn’t it? I might start dancing, tripling the jab like Apollo Creed, move around, just stick and move.”

“When {Ngannou} feels this right hand, he won’t be winning very much.”

“Sometimes I stand in front of the mirror and think I’m an absolute genius. When everyone thought it was all over for the GK, he comes and totally redeems himself and pulls this out of the hat. Only six months ago, I didn’t know if I ever was going to box again. Now, here we go.”

“I’m not thinking about {the Oleksandr Usyk fight}. I got this big sausage to deal with, and once I grill him up nice and good, then we’ll move on to the next one.”

  • The cartoons starts

Fury is a great boxer I don’t know why he fell into this game ???

    • Because dollars make sense. This is like finding 50 mil on the side of the road. Of course he’s gonna get out and pick it up. There are really only 2 more fights that could generate interest and tons of money. That’s Usyk and Zhang in China. I think he wins both, collects about 150 mil and calls it quits.

        • Yes he might but the Chinese have a lot of money and Tyson is a showman. I think the magnitude of the event will draw him in. It’s something that has never been done before. Historic stuff.

        • Greedy Belly might want to avoid Zhang, but he most definitely wants to avoid Usyk!

    • Wasn’t that you just praising another fighter for being so humble? And you were hoping, wishing, praying that they remain meek and mild at the top?
Here, you mention Fury is a great boxer after calling a fellow champion a ” little bitch”.
No difference to me but its interesting how you’ll pick and choose.

      • Yea fury is a great boxer he is just partially falling into a show game but it does not mean he is not a great boxer I think you are confusing water with oil

    • So if you could fight an opponent less than yourself would you let that money pass you by? I certainly wouldn’t.

  • Gotta luv Fury. He can talk trash with the best of them and he sells. He can sure spin it, shoot he could sell ice in the north pole and sand in the desert. Easy money, get that bag man.

  • Fury punching himself in the face with an uppercut during a fight is the stuff of legends and ranks up there with the Mark Sanchez butt fumble. Besides Usyk and Zhang, I believe Joshua has a chance of beating him, but I favor Fury against all 3. After this money grab, should be serious fights the next two times out at least.

  • Fury should be stripped of the WBC belt for holding up other legitimate contenders and champions by participating in this. It’s too bad this is what this sport is becoming.

  • not interested in this show not even for free rather fury fight real fighters does this show count for anything who knows?

  • I admit I have low standards. I have even bought two Jake Paul PPVs. For some reason though this does not move the needle for me. Good undercard but not PPV material. I think for me the issues are:

    1) It is an exhibition
    2) I am not a strong MMA fan and would not even know this guy if it were not for Fury. (nothing against MMA but I am a very casual fan at best)
    3) At least with Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury I did not know with certainty who would win and it was not an exhibition. If Ngannou does somehow win I will suspect a fix as it is just an exhibition.

As they say on Shark Tank…”For those reasons I am out!”

  • Tyson is just being Tyson. He’s trying to hype the fight so he can sell the rest of the tickets and PPVs to all of the suckers out there. I don’t blame Tyson for Francis. It’s prizefighting so make the biggest prize. Obviously, there is a lot of respect and admiration between the two. After the fight, they’ll both have a drink and talk about how they made a killing. I expect Tyson to make it a one-sided fight and stop Francis but I didn’t tell you anything you don’t already know.

  • ‘I will grill that big sausage’ , Fury is a funny man and a slick boxer who has mind of a welterweight. Still I wouldn’t trade a pint of my favorite ale to watch this crap show. Boxing is hollowing itself out with these sideshows but that’s why MMA is growing – contenders fight contenders- and boxing is just an occasional spectacle.

  • Fury at the least should take this fight seriously. Mike Tyson is training Francis Ngannou, that in it’s self is scary. Francis is in great shape, has unmatched power and has the GOAT training him.
Forget Fury fighting other guys, he won’t beat Francis Ngannou. He’s the fighter who now has to back up his reputation and his mouth! He’s talking a bunch of shit against a dangerous fighter whom has Mike Tyson training him. Fury looses this fight and it will be a legitimate beat down!

  • YOU SHOULD NOT GET TOUCHED SINCE HE’S NEVER HAD A PROFESSIONAL BOXING MATCH… MAYBE NEXT FIGHT YOU CAN FIGHT A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT YA FAKE

  • I would love to see Fury knocked out just to upset the odds. Then see Fury stripped of his WBC title which should have happened as a result of him accepting this fight. This fight is nothing more than “Circus Clown vs Circus Clown” with each party getting lots of cash to perform.

    • Truth be told, if I was one of those circus clowns offered that kind of cash, I would probably go for it even if I was stripped of the belt.

  • Too bad he takes peds and is a cheater. He will never be a greatest of anything because of that.
