Shuan Boxing continues to make history as the most important promotional company in the Dominican Republic, announcing a seven regional tiltle card headed by former WBA interim minimumweight champion, undefeated Erick “Mini Pacman” Rosa (6-0, 2 KOs), invading the light flyweight division to face Mexican Yudel “El Guerrerito” Reyes (16-2, 6 KOs) for the WBA Gold title.
“Erick Rosa is currently ranked #1 by WBA, so this fight would be followed by a world championship match against Japan´s Kenshiro Teraji” said promoter Belgica Peña. “I´m very grateful to WBA and WBO for giving us the opportunity to present such a historic event, scheduled for Friday, April 5th at the Fencing Pavillion of the Olympic Center in Santo Domingo”, she added.
In the co-main event, undefeated Cuban supermiddle, Ernesbadi “Brownie” Begue (10-0, 6 KOs) risks his WBO Latin championship against Venezuelan hard puncher Fernando Brito (12-2, 12 KOs).
WBO Youth featherweight champion, Miguel Queliz (8-0, 2 KOs) gives another title chance to Yermi Peralta (11-1, 7 KOs) in a very anticipated rematch between local prospects.
In another interesting clash between Dominican stars, Franklyn “LaParita” De Paula (9-1, 7 KOs) faces Luis Monción (11-1, 9 KOs) for the WBA Fedecaribe bantamweight belt.
Jonathan Cabrera (6-0, 5 KOs) vs Maikol Beaumont (18-5-1. 8 KOs) on featherweights, Olajuwon Acosta (10-0, 6 KOs) vs Gabriel Marte (4-6, 2 KOs) on flyweight and Brainer Vasquez (18-5-1, vs Carlos Beras (8-11, 5 KOs) on lightweights, Will also battle for Fedecaribe titles.
