WBC strawweight champion Panya Pradabsri (39-1, 23 KOs) scored a hard-fought twelve round unanimous decision over late sub Norihito Tanaka (20-9, 10 KOs) on Wednesday night in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. Tanaka brought heavy pressure while Pradabsri countered effectively with good combinations. After eight rounds, WBC open scoring showed Pradabsri ahead 79-73, 78-74, 77-75 and he went on to win handily 119-109 118-110 116-112.
