Paul-Fury to fight in Saudi Arabia on Feb 26

Today, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Queensberry Promotions announced that YouTube boxer Jake ‘The Problem Child’ Paul (6-0, 4 KOs) will, at long last, face undefeated pro boxer Tommy ‘TNT’ Fury (8-0, 4 KOs), younger brother of WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday, February 26, 2023.

Jake Paul: “The moment of truth has finally arrived. On February 26th, I will get in the ring with a ‘real boxer,’ an 8-0 fighter from a storied fighting family and show the world the truth about who Jake Paul, the boxer, really is. This fight doesn’t happen without the vision and support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its Ministry of Sport and Skill Challenge Entertainment Enterprises. I am excited to come to Riyadh and put on a show for the world to see.”

Tommy Fury: “Jake Paul’s boxing career ends on February 26th and I can finally move on with mine. Every time I go out right now, everybody asks me about the Jake Paul fight. After this fight is done, everybody will be asking me how it felt to knock Jake Paul out. The world is about to see what happens when a proper boxer faces a YouTuber.”

The event, titled ‘The Truth’, will also feature two-weight world champion Badou Jack ‘The Ripper’ challenging WBC cruiserweight world champion Illunga Makabu in the co-main event. The card will also showcase Ashton ‘H2O’ Sylve, an MVP undefeated fighter, as he is set to face former WBC world title challenger Maxwell Awuku 48-5-1 (33 KOs) with contracts being finalized.

Paul vs. Fury will be broadcast exclusively live on BT Sport Box Office in the UK and stream live in the US on ESPN+ PPV and via cable and satellite pay-per-view providers.

  • The saddest part of this whole “fight” is that Fake Paul will absolutely smash Fury and then him and all his little beta soy boy YouTube followers will scream about how great he is because he beat a Fury not knowing Tommy Fury is total garbage to begin with. They just see the name. I really hope I’m wrong, but I don’t see Fury winning.

  • Fury is a clown living off the name. Can’t stand Jake Paul but he beats pretty boy up.

  • I think this Fury is Tyson’s half brother, so they’re mothers are different. I can’t believe Paul said he is finally getting in the ring with a “real boxer”; so the rest have been fake? Two men swapping leather in a sanctioned bout is a boxing match, no matter who’s fighting, anybody can be a pro boxer. There are levels to this. The question is, Jake; how long are you going to put on this charade? Do you plan on making a career out of this? Most fighters fight because their livelihood depends upon it. Its not like Paul can’t fight (a little). I can’t blame him if people are foolish enough to support it and buy it; I won’t be one of them. I’ve said this before, put him in with a Joe Smith or a Sullivan Barrera type after two or three more fights.

  • Will see….
as long as Everything goes better than perfectly along the way, Fury may show up.
He must really be ready now, if he signed for this fight

  • Its about time Paul was able to get Fury in the ring.
Fury is the current Heavyweight champion of the world so I would rather see him fight someone of his own weight. He will have a 30 kg weight advantage over Paul, so I think he wins by Knockout in the first round.

  • Fight will not happen. It clearly states in Furys contract that he needs to weigh 112lbs two weeks before the fight and he needs to weigh in standing on one leg while juggling 3 apples and singing “This land is your land”. He will no way be able to meet those demands and the fight will be called off, 100%.
