On September 8 at the “Fabulous” Forum in Los Angeles, the vacant WBO super flyweight world title will be on the line when three-division world champion Donnie “Ahas” Nietes (41-1-4, 23 KOs), of Bacolod City, Philippines, moves up one division to face rival countryman and #2 world ranked challenger “Mighty” Aston Palicte (24-2, 20 KOs) of Bago City, Philippines.
Palicte looked significantly larger than Nietes during a workout at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, California.
