I doubt this fight can be made, because Campbell is fighter that can beat Garcia. He is serious test for this young fighter who proved his worth against Linares and Lomachenko. If the fight can take place and Kingry flatten or dominates Campbell, we can say he is ready for the real lions at 135
Naaaaa García is too much for campbell
I think an issue here is the friction between Garcia and Golden Boy. GB maybe are stalling because they wonder if their relationship will take a turn for the worse.
For the next 7-14 days, I will give GBP the benefit of the doubt to reach a meeting of the minds because this is an outstanding match-up of styles.
This would be a good tactical match up if both men can make a few adjustments in their styles prior to the fight. Kingry tends to stay stationary too long with his head right after he executes his offense. I would think someone with a decent chin and quick counters could upset the apple cart.
Campbell tends to paw with his jab and left hook and often stays stiff and straight relying way too much on his reach. I would like to see Campbell become more fluid with both his offense and defense and loosen up with extra movement. Make himself a harder target to hit with his body/head. If both can improve on these seen flaws, I think this fight would be very action-packed! Yes, these are my assessments and ideas. No offense to anyone.
