Italian boxer dies after fight in Thailand

Sad to report that 49-year-old Italian boxer Christian Daghio died last Friday after spending two days in a coma following a knockout loss in Rangsit, Thailand. Daghio, a seven-time Muay Thai world champion, was 10-0 with 10 KOs as a boxer. He was facing Don Parueang (7-4, 7 KOs) for the WBC Asian silver light heavyweight title when he was kayoed in the tenth round.
