Indonesian world-rated junior flyweight Tibo Monabesa (19-1-2, 8 KOs) is currently in preparation to fight Kenya-born Australian Omari Kimweri (17-4, 7 KOs) for the vacant IBO 108lb title on July 3rd in Kupang City, Indonesia, promoted by Armin Tan.

Monabesa’s only loss was in a non-title fight against Japanese world champion Hiroto Kyoguchi last September in Osaka, Japan. Meanwhile, Kimwari lost by points to Thailand’s world champion Chayaporn Moonsri in a minimumweight WBC title fight in 2017.
