  • Fury would impose his size on Usyk. Fury has a bad habit of holding on the inside when his opponent is starting to effectively counter back at him. In addition, Fury’s reach off the jab would keep Usyk honest on the outside much of the fight. I will say that if Usyk and Fury were the same size, then Usyk would beat Fury hands down. Usyk’s power would be in question against Fury as well. Once Fury would detect Usyk could not hurt him, Fury would clown around much of the fight on the outside racking points up. Fury on a UD.

  • Fury destroys the bum. No question whatsoever.

For everyone attacking me, I am legit MMA media and have fought professionally. I’m boxing now. Not a keyboard warrior like you toads. Check out my show before you talk smack, Carson’s Corner MMA podcast.

    • Don’t try to promote you garbage podcast on here. no one is falling for it. lol

      • I’m not trying to fight with anyone. Just contributing to the discussion. I get a little carried away sometimes. Full respect to the fighters.

    • I am not attacking you at all. Everyone has an equal opportunity to make predictions regardless of background. We are all keyboard warriors to some degree when we comment on this forum regardless of our testosterone levels and reproductive organ lengths.

    • You say you fought MMA professionally. I have checked with Sherdog and the only Bob Carson result is for an amateur who only had one fight and submitted to his opponent in the first round. Six years ago – but I do not think that can be you as that person is not in a position to call total strangers toads. Nothing at all on Boxrec for any Bob or Robert Carson in the last 29 years. Perhaps you can enlighten us toads?

      • Sean, that is the power of the internet. It’s amazing how the digital world can validate information if it speaks the truth. We will wait on Mr. Carson’s response to your findings. Thank you for your input.

        • Scooby, you and almost everyone on here have a vast knowledge of boxing. I appreciate that and take offence at people who pretend to be something they are not in order to discourage anyone from having a different opinion than them and calling more knowledgeable people toads. I also know there are real boxers posting on here.

          • Sean, thank you, and yes, I value everyone’s input, but there are some folks on here who create a toxic atmosphere by their arrogance and name calling that it does make it harder to have a civilized forum.

        • Ok, well your professional MMA name must be a legal name, correct? If so, please validate.

          • I don’t advise that any of us post any personal info. Please feel free to post yours and then I might post mine.

It’s just not a smart thing to post real life names for anyone.

          • Bob, you’ve just been found out mate. Quit while your ahead before the hole gets too deep for you to get out.

          • He also has a girlfriend, but she’s in Canada so she might be hard to track down…

        • Sean is not really my name either. My real first name is Elvis. I won’t give my surname because people think I died in 1977. What is your real name? Billy Liar??

          • Bob, I would think you boasting about your professional MMA career you would want that recognition by name as a validated standard so you can compare us toads and keyboard warriors as a lesser entity. Was that your intention? Just asking..

          • Seriously, if it were just us then we could all use real names. It isn’t advisable for any of us to give out personal info.

I stepped into it and I apologize. My post was dumb. I don’t always do or say the right things. Not proud of it.

          • I accept your apology and I am sure others do also. I am also sorry for my harsh reaction to your comment. Let’s forget it all now and put it behind us.

          • Bob, hats off to you for your apology and respect. Thank you for the response. You have my respect.

      • There was a Bob Carson that lived around the Kansas City area here, he did a lot of boxing photography and illustrations. But I read that Bob Carson of Kansas City died probably more than a decade ago.

    • You could have had 1000 fights for all I care you complete moron. 335 and 15 as and amature, undefeated two weight champion as a pro and your calling this man a bum. You’ve got issues mate and you clearly know nothing about Boxing and everybody on here knows it. Stick to MMA ya clown.

  • Usyk is a better boxer than Fury, but Fury even though being a giant is able to move like a smaller boxer. Actually just an unfair fight to be honest with the huge size difference in height, reach and weight. For the third Wilder fight Fury was 277, that’s 56 pounds more than Usyk, 25% more.

  • Have the book makers placed odds on how many times he will retire between now and then? I say at least two more. Still as for matchups this is a bad one for him. I know people dont realize it, but Usyk is not that small when it comes to a heavyweight. We just happen to be at a time where there are a lot of tall fighters. Still TF will have real issues. He avoids a lot of shots and rests by leaning on the ropes and just keeping his head leaned so far back nobody can hit him flush. Usyk is a smart fighter and will take this time to work the body. I think Usyk is too smart of a fighter and can take a shot. Honestly I think Wilder has the best shot of beating him and only because he has real single punch KO power. I dont see Fury being able to hit Usyk with that one shot power that ends the fight. I see Fury head hunting and missing a lot while Usyk racks up the points.

  • Fury is nowhere near as good a fighter as Usyk ,as a matter of fact I dont think Fury has the balls to fight Usyk he knows he losses it all if he does.

  • No predictions as to how it would unfold, but Fury-Usyk has the potential to be a much more entertaining bout than either Usyk-Joshua encounter was.

  • 2 things will happen in 2023. Usyk is getting KTFO by Fury, and Joe Biden is getting impeached by the Republican run House of Representatives.

  • I would like to promote my Facebook – I am an advocate for transgender boxing. I want to see t women compete fairly against other so called Cis women. T women are better at boxing and we are going to prove it!!

  • So Usyk suddenly is the better boxer because he beat Joshua? C’mon now, AJ was a farce! Ruiz exposed him and AJ steered clear from the real top dogs Fury and Wilder after that embarrassing loss. Both Fury and Wilder would have demolished AJ! Usyk can’t outslick Fury, the guy is a damn freak moving around the ring. Will easily wear him down and KO Usyk in the late rounds. Fury by brutal KO for all the Glory!

    • Usyk is a better boxer due to his pedigree. Look him up mate honestly, monster amature career and slaying it as a pro. Fury nearly knocked himself out in a fight haha. Why is Fury so good, because he beat 1 dimensionall Wilder twice? Fury has never encountered a boxer with Usyks skill level, this will be a great fight and I believe it will go 12.

  • I was hoping we had seen the last of Fury. I think Fury is a pathetic fighter. After beating the aged Klitschko whose mechanical, one-dimensional style wasn’t enough to overcome Fury’s height advantage, he took nearly three years off. He returned in 2018 to get two expected wins against two bums: Sefer Seferi and Francesco Pianeta. He was then gifted a draw against the overrated Wilder after getting knocked down twice. In 2019, he fights two more bums, Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin. In 2020, he fights Wilder again, gets the predictable win, then declares himself a world beater. Big mouth galore feeding the hype, he doesn’t have another fight until a year and 8 months later when he predictably beats the overrated Wilder again. Not one fight during the period between the second and third Wilder fights. His preference is to fight once a year, so in 2022 he beat an over-the-hill, easy to time, mediocre, fighting caveman in Whyte. He then declares himself the GOAT and retires.

Fury retired because he didn’t want to be pressured into defending his title against rising stars and contenders. He’s a lazy bum. If he can get away with keeping his title for two years without a fight, that’s what he prefers. Just pathetic. It is more lucrative for him to cherry pick his fights based on how lucrative they are. Coming out of retirement is more lucrative if he’s fighting the winner of Usyk-Joshua than staying unretired and defending his title against mandatory contenders. He’s not the type of great fighter who wants to test himself against the best. Let’s face it, with the exception of a few like Usyk, the heavyweight division is sub-par, and Fury doesn’t want to train for a fight where one of the contenders might get lucky beating him after pounding away at his blubbery midsection.

So I’m not a fan of Tyson Fury. I never cared for his act. He looks pathetic in the ring. He likens himself to Ali, but he isn’t even in the same conversation. Compared to Ali, Fury is a mummy in the ring. I favor Usyk in a fight with Fury.

    • I did/ do agree alot with what you said but remember he had to bend the rules to keep from getting knocked out by Steve Cunningham. However I do give him credit for being able to take advantage of his size and getting up off the deck. Personally dont think any of these heavyweights of today and I mean any would be competitive against other generations.

  • Which quality boxers has Fury beaten? Wilder / can’t box. Whyte / can’t box. Vlad K – could box but was way too old.
Fury good with punchers as he’s a good boxer but he’s not been a quality boxer.

  • Fury had a life-and-death battle with Otto Wallin, because Fury’s size was negated. Wallin nearly stopped Fury on a cut. I always wanted to see a rematch.

  • If this fight does happen as I expect it will, it makes Ring Magazine look a bit silly in how quickly they took their belt and recognition of Fury as the true Lineal HW Champion and gave it to Usyk for beating Joshua.

  • I would like to see Wlad come out of retirement and fight Usyk.
I think Fury throws too many punches and with his height and range, Usyk will have a problem winning rounds. Fury by unan decision in a boring fight.
After the fight, they will start taking the belts away from Usyk and we could see some interesting title fights.

  • Usyk can handle tall Fighters. He showed that when he boxed and outclassed Joe Joyce. I’m going with Usyk I’m this fight

  • Can’t wait for this one! Super exciting. I’ve been a boxing fan since Cassius Clay’s fights !!!

  • I like Usyk he is an amazing boxer, every bit as good as advertised even when compared to Holyfield for their similar accomplishments.

However, Fury is a skilled giant. He easily beats Usyk. Fury knows how to box and control distance with his reach, can fight on the back foot and now he has proven that he can fight on the front by coming forward with pressure. He’s smart enough to tie up and hold as well. When you add it up, Usyk has zero chance to win. Styles make fights, but so does reach and size when used properly unlike what Joshua showed.

So Good big man beats great snack man. It’s as simple as that.

Think Holyfield vs Lennox. Holyfields skill and heart made it close but Lennox’s size and ability to fight at distance behind the jab won the fight.

Fury will control the fight with Usyk and win on points.

    Easy money.
