Canelo’s brother back in action Saturday

Less than a month before his younger brother Canelo faces the biggest fight of his career, “Inocente” Ramon Alvarez (26-6-3, 16 KOs) is ready to step into the ring against Nicolás Luques Palacios (15-4, 5 KOs) on Saturday night at the Sindicato de Trabajadores del Metro in Mexico City.

“I want to be world champion,” said Alvarez. “I have the talent to achieve it. I’m close to reaching that goal. I know there’s no small opponent. I’m always well prepared. I’ll defeat this Argentine and ask for a world opportunity.”
