Big Baby: You cannot sleep on Adamek

Video, report by Przemek Garczarczyk

“There’s nothing personal. It’s just business. No bad blood, I grew up watching him a couple of times in the Prudential Center. It is what it is. We will crack some jokes along the way but on October 6, I have to put his lights out…I’m a heavyweight who fights like a cruiserweight. I’m light on my feet and throwing a lot of punches – and I’m looking for a knockout in this fight. It all favors me, but I will work hard, like for everybody else, like this is a title shot and try to make it an early night. But…hell no, I will not take him lightly. Fights are happening all the time when bigger guys sleep on smaller guys, because they’re smaller stature – but they are big in heart. Adamek is a two time, two division world champion. You cannot sleep on this guy.”

Always telling how it is, heavyweight contender Jarrell Miller (22-0, 18 KO) spoke to Fightnews.com about his October 6 DAZN USA and Matchroom Boxing USA inaugural bout in Chicago against former light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion, and heavyweight title contender Tomasz Adamek (53-5, 31 KO).
