New promotional firm Abella Boxing Promotions presented their debut boxing event on Saturday night at the Terrace Paramus in Paramus, New Jersey. A sold-out crowd of 500+ was on hand to see the first boxing show ever in Paramus.
In the main event, super lightweight Nick “The Bull” Vitone (7-1-1, 6 KOs) stole the show in a six-round slugfest with Llewelyn McClamy (3-2-1, 1 KO). Scores were 60-54, 59-55, 60-54.
In the co-main, super welterweight Robert Terry (5-0, 0 KOs) outscored DeAundre Pettus (6-0, 3 KOs) in a six rounder by scores of 60-54, 59-55, 59-55.
In the fastest fight of the night, pro debuting light heavyweight Chaz Nyguen (1-0, 1 KO) stopped Tyler Voigt (0-2) in round one. Chazz, a police officer in East Brunswick, New Jersey, finished Voigt in just 2:40.
Super welterweight David Roman Curiel (4-1-1, 1 KO) defeated Henry Mendez (0-6-2) by four round unanimous decision. Scores were 39-37, 40-36, 40-36.
Welterweight prospect Bryce Davis (3-0, 2 KOs) knocked out Shannon Hawkins(0-4) at the 1:30 mark in the third round.
Super middleweight Jade Keon Ivery (1-1, 0 KOs) outscored Tyler Jacques (0-3-1) over four rounds 40-36 3x.
Super lightweight Jamir Cope (2-0, x KO) won by third round TKO over Ryan Schwartzberg (1-5-1). Cope ended the fight at the 2:56 mark
