By Przemek Garczarczyk

Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury finally decided that it’s time to drop the “nice guy/all the respect” routine from previous weeks. Who won battle of the words at last press conference? You be the judge…

  • Props to these two for not wasting time going around the bush. These are two men who wanna fight the best of the best and it starts with them two.

  • Eyes don’t lie and Fury wearing sunshades at the press conference is telling. He also seems to have lost some of his swag compared to how he acted before the first fight. I can’t help wondering if he’s suffering from a loss of confidence.

    • @Cubanitovitch, nah, Fury is masterful at the psychological aspect. He does EVERYTHING to get in his opposition’s head. There’s absolutely no confidence issues

  • I’d like wilder to win but I’m fine with whoever the best man is to win. But I think everyone has to confess that wilder is no bum! He has bested 41 pro fighters and knocked them all to the ground

  • As always, great smack talk (like all other buildups) to get some in the mood for a big fight. Odd, the same day the democratic debates were on in Nevada. Boy, a lot of smack talk for all audiences.

  • I have seen wilder do that sniffing thing a few times during the build up to this fight, obviously referring to fury’s much publicised fight with addiction. This shows an enormous lack of understanding of the horrors of addiction and the respect we should have for those who find the road to recovery. Wilder is an immature hoodrat. I hope he finally gets his ass kicked Saturday night.

  • Lousy press conference, should ve each taken their turn on the podium and shut the F up while the other was talking. Two loud mouths going at it. They should ve done their own rhyming battle. They were dressed like it.

  • Not matter what they do, they can’t reach a level where their words or actions are such to be believe as a real response of hate or legitimate dislike for each other, no, because they like each other. They try their best to promote the fight, maybe obligated by their promoters because seems the tickets are not being sold the way expected. I see some urgency in the promotion when they were presented in a good rating show (The masked singer). Why? To show how big they are or to say buy some tickets, buy the PPV event?
