Japanese superstar Naoya Inoue faces Emmanuel Rodriguez on May 18 for the Puerto Rican’s IBF strap in their 118lb World Boxing Super Series semi-final at Glasgow, Scotland’s SSE Hydro Arena. The IBF bantamweight title bout takes place on the same card as a WBSS semi-final in the 154lb division between Scotland’s Josh Taylor and Belarus’ IBF world champion Ivan Baranchyk.

The Baranchyk camp has reportedly pulled out of the tournament, but the WBSS is proceeding with the promotion of the May 18 semi-final card in Glasgow so let’s see what happens.
