It was true that after the tenth round, all the judges (from left, Jeremy Hayes, Omar Mintun, and Jun-Bae Lim) tallied 94-94, so it was truly a last two-round fight.

Very close fight and seemed like Canizales had jet-lag at times. Had he gotten the nod for the 10th round it would have been a draw. Good candidate for a rematch.
i had it the other way 114-112, i thought the champ lost the last round by moving around the ring and avoiding his opponent as much as possible, this was a great fight and i’m sure a rematch is next.
That is why the Japanese love to fight at home (home advantage) and most challenger’s home don’t have the money as the Japanese promoters. With this said, Japan is one of the most fair country when it comes to judging.
