Big Baby Miller Update

By TMZ.com

Heavyweight contender Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller appeared to be in good spirits during his arrest earlier this month … with new police video, obtained by TMZ Sports, showing the boxing star was actually cracking jokes while in handcuffs.

Miller was confronted by Hollywood Police Dept. officers in Florida back on Jan. 2 … after he had been accused of body-slamming a car dealership employee, before stealing a [repossessed] truck right off the lot.

According to police documents, officers were able to find Miller via a tracker that had been placed in the vehicle … but body camera footage shows he was in a jovial mood despite the allegations against him.

In the video, Miller — wearing a #F***AJOB” T-shirt — can be heard asking an officer if he could go into a nearby establishment and make his “brother” aware of what was happening to him.

“He look like you?” the cop asked.

“Nah,” Miller said as he flashed a huge smile. “He’s white as a motherf***er. He’s my God brother!”

Miller then seemed to make light of the situation further … asking a policeman if there was any way he could “handcuff me to the front” of the squad car due to his 6-foot-4, 330-pound frame.

Miller eventually got in the vehicle … and was ultimately taken to a nearby station, where he was booked on charges of carjacking without a firearm or weapon and burglary with assault or battery.

Miller appeared in a courtroom two days later and pleaded not guilty to the charges. When he was released from custody, he issued a statement saying, in part, “I am prayerful and look forward to a favorable resolution of this case.”

Miller just recently fought Daniel Dubois in December … but lost, moving his pro boxing record to 26-1-1.

  • Hopefully it was a misunderstanding, like payments were applied but didn’t propagate through yet.

Patience is a virtue that many don’t have.

Dude got whooped in the ring then had to steal his car back. The struggle is real even for professional fighters.

Hope it his life gets sorted out for the better.

    • Do you think body slamming the dealership employee was a misunderstanding? Then being jovial and cracking jokes during the arrest? He’s a 6-4″ 330lb professional boxer/kickboxer/MMA fighter. Sounds like he thinks he can do as he pleases and not concern himself at all with the consequences.

      • Kris P,

I have not seen video proof of a body slam so giving the benefit of the doubt until i do.

For all we know Big Baby could have tripped and fallen on the employee who in turn saw $$ signs by stating he was slammed.

Or maybe the employee looked like his last opponent and it triggered him. Lol.

        But Innocent until proven guilty.

    • There is no more to this story other than he felt entitled and those that feel entitled feel they should be able to whatever they want without reprecussions. It would be different if it was a verbal argument, but to use your size against someone that probably has never fought a day in his life is what a coward will do. Hope he gets sued and thrown in the slammer.

        • Yes, I wanna talk shhhh! What kind of man takes steroids, a 330 pound man at that. What kind of man, 330 pound man body slams a car salesman? A coward probably just like you notorious nuts. He was arrested for carjacking without a weapon, sent to jail. Probable cause existed for him to be arrested. Yes, you can argue if he will be convicted of this crime, but given his history, he did it and he is a entitled punk for doing it.

  • I was wondering how Miller would mentally adjust/respond after his last fight.

Miller’s action was wrong and unlawful. Miller is lucky that victim did not have a concealed weapon.

An entitlement mentality and/or evil can create huge problems for people (victims, suspects and their family members).

We will see how the courts will resolve this criminal matter.

    • No, because you have convicted him already MF’er! listen to your asS probably own a confederate flag too!

      • Big Baby Miller has apparently entered the chat under an assumed name. Welcome, sir!

  • Lucky for him he didn’t body slam a human being. It was only a car salesman. That should not be illegal.

    • Seriously car sales men should get some respect as well not no WWF shit body slam lol

      • I was just kidding of course, but car salesmen don’t have the best reputation, only about 50,000 degrees higher than politicians.

  • From what I hear, he had his car repossessed despite it being paid off. And then the “dealer” jumped in front of him and he pushed the guy out of the way. And took his car back. Miller is a victim of a predatory dealership here.

  • Stop this shit, and get back into the ring Miller.
Afterall, you are a heavyweight and boxing need contenders.
