Bob Newman…not sure if I’ve ever met a more dedicated and knowledgeable fight junkie. This man knows more obscure boxing history than anyone I ever met. I used to buy fight tapes from this dude back in the early to mid-90’s and he had so many hard-to-find archived fights that it was a bit scary. He can probably give you a breakdown of all Khoasai Galaxy’s title defenses and tell you who the first WBA jr. flyweight champion was. Now he’s interviewing Mauricio Sulaiman at a WBC convention in Hamburg, Germany as a Fightnews reporter. Can’t say I’m surprised. He must be living his best life now. Good on you, Bob!
