Caleb Plant: I’m the new face of boxing

IBF super middleweight champion Caleb Plant says Canelo Alvarez is in trouble when they meet in a November 6 PPV clash.

“On November 6, the world will witness boxing’s first ever crowned undisputed super middleweight champion,” said Plant. “When my hand is raised in victory, the world will know then, that I’m the new face of boxing. Everyone should order the PPV now and get their popcorn ready, because I’m about to put on a performance that will go down in history as one of the best ever. This man is in trouble.”

  • Plant will build this fight up. Just be happy Canelo has a real opponent that at least feels he can win. The last few opponents (BJS, Kov, Yildrim) were not much confident. Plant carries himself different and I expect his pride will show.

    • Plant has a YouTube channel and can’t even get people to go watch that he has no fans there’s no fans all mouth

  • If anyone at this division has a legitimate chance at beating Canelo, it’s Caleb. But I don’t think he has the power to win. Even if he does beat Canelo the judges are in Canelos pockets so Caleb is fighting 4 opponents in one night.

    • “Judges are gonna favor Canelo anyway”
As if Canelo hasn’t KO/TKO all of his previous opponents in the last couple of years, the only one he went the distance was Callum and he dominated him

    • Plant really has nothing in his arsenal to stop the onslaught of such a beast named Canelo. Plant is deceiving himself. Once Canelo lands a counter left, Plant wished he had not taken the fight. Easy victory for Canelo.

      • Are any of his previous opponents better than Canelo Alvarez and there’s your answer God Nello

    • What makes him different cause hes saying he has all this courage we’ll see when it gets in the ring that’s when everything changes

    • Exactly!!! Plant had no power to keep it away from the judges therefore he has no chance of winning.

  • “Everyone should order the PPV now and get their popcorn ready….”
    – This fight is 1.5 months away. Won’t my popcorn be stale by then ?? Some one help me ………

    • I mean who actually eats popcorn when they watch boxing, more like get the cervezas ready

      • danzeddy69:
        – Thank you for setting me straight.
        – Yes to cervaza, no to stale popcorn.
        – Gary G

  • I am not even sure Plant would beat Saunders or Smith. The only decent fighter Plant beat was when he won the title beating Uzcatigui. Otherwise a bunch of tomato cans. Can you imagine buying a ppv with Plant as the A side.

  • only way that popcorn makes sense is
if theatres show the fight via FATHOM EVENTS.
Not paying for these PPV otherwise unless the undercard is stacked.

  • Easy win for Canelo; Plant is the weakest of all the champions and he has not fought anyone.

  • Caleb Plant is going to go into this fight over confident and get his ass stopped mid round after he finds out the hard way what Canelo is all about. I believe within the first 3 rounds Plant will start to loose himself. I hope he doesn’t quit on his stool like another have done. Plant has not fought anyone of this caliber whatsoever and will get his confidence busted real quick against a world class fighter like Canelo. This is Plant’s hardest opponent to date, but it’s not Canelo’s.

  • No one is ever in trouble when they fight “sweet hands”. He is the pitter patter feather fisted champion! When mr cinnamon is done manhandling this clown maybe he can get his own show in some run down Vegas casino as a Vanilla Ice impersonator.

The billboard would read something like “Sweethands Vanilla Ice. Free tickets. Prime rib $9.99”…

    ICE ICE BABY

  • Plant does NOT have an impressive list of beaten opponents…. He’s going to make top dollar with his upcoming fight with Canelo.. but surely, he’ll lose.. he’s not in the same caliber of fighter as Canelo… He’ll lose, but will walk away from his loss with money to burn… then, he’ll fade away…
