After news of Adrien Broner’s arrest, it turns out Broner’s next opponent Omar Figueroa Jr. was also recently arrested. Figueroa, a former WBC lightweight champion, was arrested on January 29 for allegedly driving under the influence in Indio, California. Both Broner and Figueroa have been released according to online records. They are scheduled to fight April 21 on Showtime.
