World Boxing Association (WBA) Championships Committee has vacated the “regular” super welterweight title formerly held by Brian Castaño after Castaño failed to sign a contract to fight mandatory challenger Michel Soro. Soro now has the opportunity to fight for the vacant belt against the #2 in the division Erislandy Lara, the former champion.

Soro is fighting someone whos 17-for vacant not lara
Not many want to go through a difficult fight again, specially when the reward is very low, Brian Castanño was not the exception. Soro gave Brian all what he could handle and more, now as his mandatory he better avoided him. Soro is slated to face Magomed Kurbanov, a very good prospect with nice foot work and defense.
O.M.G the WBA has taken away the REGULAR super welter title. I mean how can we possibly sleep now that we do not have a REGULAR CHUMP to go along with the IRREGULAR CHUMP, the INTERIM CHUMP, Emeritus chump, super chump, sometimes chump,GOD KNOWS who CHUMP and the BEST OF ALL the FRANCHISE CHUMPION.
